THE LORE
Kelemvor is the just warden of the dead, the god who ensures that death itself cannot be corrupted. Where Velsharoon sees undeath as transcendence, Kelemvor sees it as a violation of cosmic law. He judges the dead with perfect fairness, grants them their peace or their appropriate damnation, and brooks no interference. He is mercy and judgment inseparable.
THE PALETTE
Dusty whites and pale greys dominate, the colors of ash, bone dust, and the grey light of a tomb. Deep charcoal provides weight and seriousness. There's texture here but no vibrancy, the palette of a grave that's been sealed for exactly the right amount of time.
THE CHRONICLE
I
In a hall that exists outside time, Kelemvor judges the dead with the precision of a perfect scale. Each soul arrives burdened by its own deeds, and he reads them like a ledger that cannot lie. There is no cruelty in his verdicts, and that is what makes them devastating. A tyrant who thought himself just sees his own deeds rendered naked and undeniable. A pauper who believed herself worthless is shown the quiet weight of her kindnesses. Kelemvor does not comfort the guilty or flatter the righteous; he simply ensures that death itself remains untouched by ambition, corruption, or mercy's exceptions. Around him, the dead queue in silence, and in his eyes they see the certainty that what comes next is exactly what they deserve. That knowledge is either peace or torment, and Kelemvor is indifferent to which....
