About the Viewer
What is the FaerunColors Viewer?
A free browser tool where you can preview every FaerunColors and vanilla dye on 3D armor sets. You can rotate the model, zoom in, compare how colors look on cloth, leather and metal, edit your own palettes, and share them as links.
Which browsers are supported?
Any modern browser with WebGL2 support. Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari all work. If the viewer shows a "WebGL2 is required" message, make sure hardware acceleration is enabled in your browser settings.
Does the viewer work on mobile?
Yes. The layout adapts to smaller screens. Performance depends on your device, but it runs on most modern phones.
How do I share a palette I created?
Click the Share button in the viewer. It generates a unique link with your color choices baked in. Anyone who opens that link will see exactly what you see.
Can I use the viewer to create my own dye and request it?
Absolutely. Design your palette in the custom editor, see which existing dyes are closest to what you have, and if nothing matches, use the Request Dye button to send it over. Free requests are always open.
The viewer is not loading or shows a black screen.
First, check that your browser supports WebGL2 and that hardware acceleration is on. If the problem persists, try a different browser. If it still does not work, let me know and I will look into it.
About the Mod
Why is the latest version not available for my console?
I always develop the mod with console users in mind and I release it for them at the same time as for PC. But Larian needs to manually check each update for compatibility, so some delay may occur. Just be patient, it is just a matter of time.
When will the latest update be available for PS5/Xbox?

I installed your mod and now my game crashes / my saves got deleted / my cat is pregnant. What have you done?
Although I am more than curious about finding bugs and fixing them, you are blaming the wrong developer. This mod only adds new dyes to the game. I do not even delete them, ever, so it is impossible for it to cause crashes, save corruption, or any other issue like that.
Is it possible to uninstall the mod safely?
It is, as long as you remove every dye from your equipped items first. If you uninstall without doing that, the game will complain about a missing mod or show an error 302. Unfortunately that is not something I can fix.
Where do I find the dyes in-game?
Inside your camp chest. A new note explaining how to get them is generated once the mod is loaded. You can also find them at these vendors throughout the game: the Nautiloid Chest (in the room where Shadowheart's key is stored), Arron (Emerald Grove), Grat (Goblin Camp), Blurg (Underdark), Talli (Last Light Inn), Lann Tarv (Moonrise Towers), and Zara the Mummy (Circus of the Last Days). You can also browse all dyes in the viewer to see how they look before you hunt them down.
