THE LORE
Nyx is the primordial night itself, older than the gods and progenitor of darkness. She is not evil, merely complete. The canvas upon which all things are born and to which all things return exists in her being. Where light fears to reach, Nyx reigns. She teaches that darkness is not absence but presence, that silence holds more truth than song, and that what cannot be seen often matters most.
THE PALETTE
The cloth exists in shadow barely lighter than void, deep blue-blacks that suggest the space between stars. Secondary tones are near-transparent, allowing the darkness to dominate. Metals rise only slightly from the gloom, catching starlight rather than sunlight. The accent embraces the purple edge of midnight, where reality grows thin and strange.
THE CHRONICLE
...Before the first sun kindled, Nyx walked alone through her domain, and there was no loneliness in it because loneliness requires something besides. She wove the void into patterns and called them dreams. When morning came for the first time, she did not diminish but transformed, becoming the night that ends every day. A priestess stood in her temple now, candles dark, and felt the ancient presence settle around her like a cloak. In the silence that predated sound, Nyx whispered a secret the world was not yet wise enough to hear....
