Persephone, Queen of the Underworld and Soul of the Spring, embodies the paradox of death and renewal in a single presence. Half her year she rules the deep places, understanding the necessity of endings. Half her year she brings the world back to life, teaching that all seasons return and all growth requires surrender. She walks between kingdoms no other god can navigate, belonging wholly to neither.
THE PALETTE
Rich peach and golden cloth speak to her sun-touched aspect, springtime made radiant. Deep dark reds and blacks anchor her underworld nature. Gold and silver metals bridge both realms. The accent red carries both pomegranate and passion.
THE CHRONICLE
...She descended into darkness knowing she would return to light, descended knowing the earth depended on her absence, and returned knowing it depended on her presence. In the deep places, she sat upon a throne of shadow and listened to the songs of the dead, teaching them that endings were not cruelties but necessities. In the bright world, she walked through gardens and remembered the cold places, aware that her two natures could never fully reconcile and that the trying was more important than the achievement...
