THE LORE
Poseidon, Enesidaone, is the god of the sea in all its moods. Calm mirror, raging tempest, and the deep places where light cannot reach answer to his dominion. He commands respect through power, not gentleness, and his domains shift with the tides. To honor him is to accept that you are small before forces of nature, that the sea gives and takes according to laws beyond mortal understanding, and that no wall or prayer can truly contain the tides.
THE PALETTE
Sea blue dominates the cloth, deep and cool, reflecting both shallow waters and oceanic trenches. Algae green appears in secondary zones, speaking to the strange life forms that dwell in sunless depths. Black and silver metals capture the ancient quality of wrought silver pulled from salt-waters. The accent burns with drowned gold, that impossible richness found only far below where sunlight dies.
THE CHRONICLE
...A ship cut through waters that had swallowed a thousand vessels before it. The captain stood at the bow, feeling the ocean's mood beneath his feet. It could crush him in an hour if it wished. It chose not to, and that made them partners of sorts, bound by respect rather than love. A hand rose from the depths, not threatening but gesturing, and the captain adjusted his course accordingly. To those who sailed the sea with wisdom, the god did not capsize. He merely reminded them, daily, of their place in a much older and deeper order....
